ALAIA
Alaïa by the Tunisian-born Azzedine Alaïa defined the 1980s with his bodycon dresses. Alaïa moulded his clothes to the female form, designing around the woman's body. The notoriously press-shy couturier was trained by Christian Dior himself after moving to Paris in 1957. The brand signatures include meticulous laser-cut heels, totes and waist-cinching belts.
