Manolo Blahnik has become synonymous with women’s luxury shoes. The Designer studied shoemaking informally by visiting the best Italian shoe factories and examining the artisans about their profession. In 1969, one year after moving to London Manolo Blahnik opened his first store. The company is privately owned and family-run, and Manolo Blahnik still sketches every shoe himself.
